Stock Market Opening: The bullish trend is returning again in the Indian stock market and today Sensex-Nifty opened with a strong rise. India Volatility Index India Vix is at all-time low today and the bullish momentum continues in the market. There is a good rise in Nifty Bank and it is trading above the level of 48,000.
How was the market opening?
BSE's Sensex has opened at the level of 74,048 with a rise of 400.32 points or 0.54 per cent and NSE's Nifty has opened at the level of 22,447 with a rise of 110.65 points or 0.50 per cent.
Market capitalization of BSE again nears Rs 400 lakh crore
The market capitalization of BSE has come to Rs 399.44 lakh crore and is witnessing an increase taking it to Rs 400 lakh crore. At present, 2966 shares are being traded on BSE, out of which 2040 shares are seeing a rise. There are 828 shares which are trading on decline and 98 shares are seen trading with no change.
What is the condition of Sensex shares?
Out of 30 stocks of BSE Sensex, 24 stocks are seeing a rise and 6 stocks are seeing a decline. Among the rising stocks, Bharti Airtel is up by 1.73 percent and HCL Tech is up by 1.37 percent. Apart from these, a rise is being seen in the shares of NTPC, Bajaj Finserv, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Titan. Among the falling stocks are L&T, Power Grid, Axis Bank, Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and IndusInd Bank.
What is the picture of NSE shares?
Out of 50 shares of NSE, 33 shares are showing strength and 16 shares are trading with decline. 1 stock is trading with no change. Bharti Airtel is leading among the top gainers of Nifty and is up 1.73 percent. HCL Tel is up by 1.29 percent and Tata Motors is trading with a gain of 1.07 percent. Among the falling stocks of Nifty, Hindalco has fallen by about one percent. Shares of HDFC Life, PowerGrid, Tata Consumers and Britannia Industries are trading with a decline.
