was looking forward to
Shubman Gill said during the presentation ceremony, I was eagerly waiting to do what I wanted to do. I wanted to move forward but you cannot do that because of the fall of wickets many times. I want to do it eventually. When the bowler is on top, you have to put them under pressure. Otherwise it is easy for him to bowl dot balls. I tried to put the bowlers under pressure through singles and boundaries. Before hitting sixes in the 46th or 47th over, I was not thinking about 200 runs. After that I felt that a double century could happen. I wouldn’t call it a wow feeling, but it feels good when the ball goes off the bat. This gives a feeling of satisfaction.
Shubman made many records
Shubman Gill made many records during his 208-run innings against New Zealand. He is the first batsman in the world to score a double century at the youngest age. He is the first Indian cricketer who completed the fastest one thousand runs in ODIs. In this case, he broke the record of Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan, Virat and Shikhar had completed one thousand runs in 24-24 ODI innings. Whereas Shubman showed this charisma in 19 innings.
