Sarfaraz Khan not in Team India squad for Australia Test series after record breaking first-class performance

Indian squad for Australia series: Team India has been announced for the first two matches of the four-match Test series starting in February between Australia and India (AUS vs IND). Here the whole team was selected according to the expectations but Mumbai batsman Sarfaraz Khan once again got disappointed. He has been performing consistently for the last three seasons in domestic cricket. His batting average in first class cricket is 80+.

Sarfaraz Khan has so far scored 3380 runs in 52 innings of 36 first class matches. His batting average here has been 80.47. During this, he scored a total of 12 centuries and 9 half-centuries. He has also scored a triple century once. For the last three seasons, his bat has been on fire in first class cricket. This batsman scored 928 runs at an average of 155 in 2019-20. After this, in 2021-22, he once again scored more than 900 runs at an average of 123. He is also playing big innings in the 2022-23 season.

Seeing this wonderful performance of this 25-year-old young batsman, everyone was hoping that Team India would not be able to ignore him in the Test series against Australia.
