Women’s Premier League (WPL): The Women’s Premier League is about to begin. The first match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants, but before the first match there has been a change in the Gujarat team. Gujarat Giants have included Australia’s Kimberly Garth in place of West Indies’ Deandra Dottin.
Former West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin was included in their team by Gujarat by paying Rs 60 lakh, but now she is out of this season as she is recovering from a medical condition. Now in his place, the Gujarat team has included Australia’s Kimberly Garth in their team.
Kim replaced Dottin
Talking about Kim, she used to play cricket for Ireland earlier. Before playing cricket for Australia, she had played in 51 T20 matches for Ireland. His debut took place in 2010 at the age of just 14. Now she plays under Australia’s captain Meg Lanning. Kim had visited India for a series of 5 T20 matches last year under Meg’s captaincy. Apart from this, Kimberly Garth was also included in the team that won the T20 World Cup in South Africa last month.
