Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 206 runs while batting first against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Virat Kohli hits silver half-century, IPL 2024 SRH vs RCB

SRH vs RCB: After winning the toss, RCB batted first and scored 206 runs. The half-centuries of Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar contributed significantly in helping Royal Challengers Bangalore reach this score. On one hand, Virat played an inning of 51 runs in 43 balls. Whereas Patidar played a stormy inning of 50 runs in 20 balls, hitting 2 fours and 5 sixes. The competition between Virat Kohli and Jaydev Unadkat in this innings was worth watching. Unadkat bowled brilliantly for SRH and took a total of 3 wickets. Now SRH will have to score 207 runs to win.

It was a good start for RCB as Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis took the team's score to 48 runs even before the end of the fourth over. Du Plessis was out on the score of 48 runs, who scored 25 runs in 12 balls. Will Jacques could not show any magic, who was out after scoring only 6 runs. Meanwhile, the 65-run partnership between Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar took over the RCB innings. After 15 overs, RCB's score was 142 runs for 4 wickets, but from here came the storm of Cameron Green. In the next 3 overs, Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers gave away 37 runs, due to which Bengaluru team had scored 179 runs after 18 overs.

Even in the last 2 overs, RCB batsmen were seen swinging the bat aggressively. SRH captain Pat Cummins gave away 15 runs in the first 19th over, while T Natarajan also gave away 12 runs in the last over. With this, RCB team was successful in crossing the 200-run mark. Green scored 37 runs in 20 balls and in the last overs, Swapnil Singh played a cameo inning of 12 runs in 6 balls. 64 runs have been scored in the last 5 overs.

SRH bowling

SRH's bowling appeared to be out of rhythm in the beginning of the match. The team had given away 61 runs in the powerplay overs itself. However, the bowling of Jaydev Unadkat was sharp, who took 3 wickets for 30 runs in 4 overs. Although captain Pat Cummins took 1 wicket, he also gave away 55 runs in 4 overs. Apart from them, Mayank Markande took 1 wicket and T Natarajan took 2 wickets. Shahbaz Ahmed appeared to be bowling very tightly, giving only 14 runs in 3 overs.
