Statement and reaction of SRH captain Pat Cummins after losing to RCB in IPL 2024, not going to win every game

Pat Cummins' response: Sunrisers Hyderabad had to face defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 41st match of IPL 2024. Bengaluru defeated Hyderabad by 35 runs at their home. After this defeat against RCB, Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins said that this is T20 cricket and you cannot win every match. This was Hyderabad's third defeat in the season.

After losing the match against RCB, Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins said, “Not an ideal night. Had a few average overs with the ball and unfortunately lost a few wickets during our innings. We were supposed to bat first, it felt like that.” It was working in our favor. Before we won, we were thinking that it was not in our favor.

Cummins further said, “I speak after victory, Daniel Vettori speaks after defeat. The boys are performing well, this is T20 cricket, you cannot win every match. Don't pay too much attention to it.” The Hyderabad captain further said on high risk and high reward with the bat, “I think that is our strong side. It will not work in every match. One or two matches where it did not go in our favor in the beginning, then We also made a good total.”

In the match played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, batting first, put 206 runs on the board in 20 overs. Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli have played half-century innings for the team. Then while chasing the target, Hyderabad could score only 171 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In this way Hyderabad lost the match by 35 runs.
