Cricket icon Rahul Dravid cast his vote in Bengaluru on Friday morning. He was among the early voters of Bengaluru and cast his vote in Dollars Colony. Dravid was seen standing in a queue with other common voters to cast his vote at a polling booth.
Dravid appealed to cast his vote
When head coach Rahul Dravid came out of the polling booth after casting his vote, he talked to the media. In this conversation he also appealed to the people to cast their vote. He said- “Voting went smoothly, and the process was very simple. It is important for us to take our democracy forward and I request everyone to come out and vote.”

Dravid also said that he is expecting a big voter turnout this time in the tech capital. “I am expecting more voter turnout in Bengaluru this time. There are so many first-time voters too, and everyone should use their polling booth. If young boys and girls come and cast their vote, it will be great .”
Former Indian captain Anil Kumble also came to cast his vote with his wife and shared a picture on his X handle.

Lok Sabha elections are being held on 14 seats in Karnataka today, and voting for the remaining 14 is going to be held on 7th May. The counting of votes is to be conducted on June 4.
Karnataka reported around 9.21 per cent voting rate in the first two hours after polling began on Friday, PTI reported. In which highest 14.33 percent voting was recorded in Dakshina Kannada, 12.82 percent in Udupi-Chikmagalur and 7.70 percent in Chamarajanagar and Mandya.
In the three parliamentary constituencies of Bengaluru city, 9.08 percent voting took place in Bengaluru South, 8.64 percent in Bengaluru North and 8.14 percent in Bengaluru South.
