Indian women wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Ritika Mansi and Anshu Malik one win away from winning Paris Olympics 2024 quota.

Paris Olympics 2024 Quota: It is every athlete's dream to participate in the Olympics. All the athletes are working hard for the Paris Olympics to be played this year i.e. 2024. Now four Indian women wrestlers are just one step away from making it to the Paris Olympics (Paris Olympics 2024). That means, as soon as they achieve another victory, all four Indian women wrestlers will make it to the Paris Olympics.

The four women wrestlers include Vinesh Phogat (50 kg), Anshu Malik (57 kg), Mansi Ahlawat (62 kg) and Ritika (76 kg). All four Indian women have reached the semi-finals of the Asian Olympic Qualifiers being held in Bishkek. Now, after winning the semi-final match, all four wrestlers will get the quota for Paris Olympics 2024.

Vinesh Phogat defeated her Cambodian opponent in the 50 kg category to reach the semi-finals. Let us tell you that lastly Panghal has already achieved the quota for Paris Olympics in 53 kg category. Now it will be interesting to see which women wrestlers are able to achieve quota in Paris Olympics by reaching the finals.

It is noteworthy that Anshu Malik, who won the silver medal in the World Championship 2021, defeated Kalmira Bilimbekova of Kyrgyzstan with technical superiority and secured her place in the semi-finals. Whereas Under 23 World Champion Ritika secured a place in the semi-finals with victory over Yunju Hwang and Mongolia's Davanasan Enkh Amar. Rest Mansi Ahlawat defeated Irina Kuznetsova of Kazakhstan 6-4 and secured her place in the semi-finals.

These women players have achieved quota in boxing

Among female Indian boxers, Lovlina Borgohain in 75 kg category, Nikhat Zareen in 50 kg category, Parveen Hooda in 57 kg category and Preeti Pawar in 54 kg category have secured the quota for Paris Olympics 2024.

When will the Paris Olympics be played?

Paris will host the 2024 Olympics. The Paris Olympics will start from 26th July, while it will end on 11th August. Now very little time is left for the start of the Olympics.
