If it is not decided what to make as Prasad then you can make fruit rabri. Many people say that the real fun of eating rabri comes in winter. But it is not so at all, a person should eat things of his choice only when he likes and in any season.
milk rabid
Ingredients for making Dudhi Rabdi
Milk – 300 grams
Milk – 1 liter
Half Cream – Half Cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Almonds – 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder- 1 teaspoon
Desi Ghee – 5 tbsp
How to make Doodhi Rabdi?
First collect the materials. Then wash the milk thoroughly and remove its peel. Then chop finely and keep aside for some time.
By spreading milk, all its water dries up. At this time, keep the pan on the gas to heat. – When the pan is hot, add ghee in it and let it heat.
Then add milk to it and fry. – After the curd sets, add milk, sugar, cream and cardamom powder to it and let it cook well.
– When the milk is cooked properly and becomes thick, add almonds to it and turn off the flame.
Leave it to cool for some time. Then take it out in a bowl and keep it in the refrigerator. When the rabri cools down, sprinkle coconut on top and serve.
Mango Rabdi
Ingredients required to make Rabdi
2 ripe mangoes, peeled and cut into pieces
1 liter full fat milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
a pinch of saffron
Pistachios, Almonds and Cashews
How to make Mango Rabdi?
In a heavy pan, heat the milk on medium flame until it boils.
– Lower the flame and cook the milk on low flame while stirring occasionally.
When it is half cooked, add sugar and cardamom powder to it and keep stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
Remove the pan from the flame and let the milk cool to room temperature.
Grind the chopped mango in a blender. Add mango puree to cold milk and mix.
If using saffron, soak it in one spoon hot milk for a few minutes.
Then add mango to the rabri to enhance the taste and color.
Keep the Mango Rabidi in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Garnish it with finely chopped pistachios, almonds and cashew nuts and offer it to Mata Rani. After this, serve it chilled.
apple rabidi
Ingredients for making Apple Rabdi-
2 apples
1 liter full cream milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
dry fruits for decoration
How to make apple rabidi-
Heat the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan on medium flame till it boils.
– Lower the flame and cook the milk on low flame while stirring occasionally.
Keep stirring occasionally to prevent the milk from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
– Add sugar and cardamom powder in less milk and cook well.
Now peel the apple and grate it. Add it to the milk, mix and cook until the apples become soft.
When the milk thickens, remove the pan from the flame and let the apple rabri cool down.
Add raisins, almonds and cashews and mix. – Keep the rabidi in the refrigerator for an hour.
Take it out and offer it to Goddess Lakshmi as Prasad.
bananas are rough
Ingredients required to make Rabdi-
2 ripe bananas, mash them
1 liter milk
condensed milk
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
a pinch of saffron
2 tbsp dry fruits
How to make banana rabri?
Heat the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan on medium flame till it boils.
– Boil milk in it till it reduces to half. If there is curd in the milk then stir it and mix it in the milk.
After this, add ripe banana to it and mash it with milk.
When the milk becomes thick, add condensed milk and cardamom powder to it and mix.
Place on medium heat and cook for 2 minutes and then reduce the heat to thicken slightly.
– Add saffron on top and add dry fruits and turn off the flame.
Place the Rabidi in the refrigerator to harden and cool. Then offer it to God.
