Abbott India announces 410 Rupees dividend after strong q4 result

Abbott India Dividend News: Shares of leading pharma company Abbott India have made investors rich. The company has earned huge profits between January to March quarter of financial year 2024. Along with this, the company has also announced a huge dividend for its shareholders. On May 9, the company has announced a 24 percent year-on-year increase in net profit for the financial year 2023-24. In such a situation, the net profit of the company has increased to Rs 287 crore.

Company's earnings also increased

Abbott India has informed in its filing that the company's earnings have increased by 7 percent to Rs 1,439 crore during this period. Whereas in the same period last year it was Rs 1,343 crore.

Record dividend announced

In its stock exchange filing, the pharma company has announced a bumper dividend of 4100 percent. The company is going to pay an interim dividend of Rs 410 on shares with a face value of Rs 10. The board of the company has recommended the payment of final dividend and the decision to pay dividend to the shareholders can be approved in the general meeting of the company to be held on 8 August 2024. The company has set the record date for dividend as 19 July 2024. The dividend will be paid by the company on August 13, 2024. Earlier in May 2023, the company had announced a dividend of Rs 180.

Tremendous rise in shares

There is a tremendous rise in the shares of Abbott India after the company released good quarterly results on Thursday. Today the company's shares have risen by 5 percent. At present, a rise of 3.21 percent is being recorded in the shares of the company and it remains at the price of Rs 26,362.20.
