This year's Ram Navami is special
Today Ram devotees all over the world are waiting for Ram Navami. This is the first Ram Navami after 500 years of Lord Shri Ram sitting in his birthplace. That is why every Ram devotee, Mani Dhyani, is eager to come to Ayodhya while chanting Ram. The biggest attraction of this year's Ram Navami will be the anointment of Surya Tilak i.e. sun rays on the head of Ram Lalla.
Surya Tilak crown to Lord Shri Ram
Surya Tilak is going to bloom under Ramlala on the day of Ram Navami. On the day of Ramnavmi, at exactly 12 noon, Ramlala's head will be anointed with the rays of the sun for about four minutes. There will be a circular Surya Abhishek on the forehead of Ramlala and its size will be 75 mm in diameter. Scientists were working round the clock during the construction of Ram temple for Surya Kiran Abhishek. Know how to anoint Ramlala with sun rays on Ram Navami.
How will the sun rays be anointed on Ramlala?
During the construction of Ram temple, construction experts have prepared a special design for Surya Kiran Abhishek on Ramlala. We have seen and experienced the Kiranotsav organized at Ambabai Temple in Kolhapur many times. The rays of the sunset come from the western entrance of the temple and anoint the goddess from her feet to her head. A similar experience is going to happen today regarding Ram temple. Kironotsav of Ram temple in Ayodhya will be a little different from that.
Special design for Surya Abhishek in Ram temple
Like Ambabai temple, in the temple of Ayodhya too the sun rays will come from the door or from the dome. Ramjanam means exactly noon time, so at this time the sun is exactly above our heads. So the sun's rays will come from the dome built on Ramlala in the temple. The dome in which Ramlala is seated is designed like a gavaksha and through this gavaksha the afternoon rays will enter the sanctum sanctorum to enhance the brightness of Ramlala through a special system.
Now an optomechanical system has been adopted to keep the direction of the rays coming through the cavity of the dome accurate. In this system, two mirrors, one brass pipe and three lenses will play the most important role for Abhishek. The biggest lens is installed on the roof of the temple. On the day of Ram Navami, the sun's rays will fall on the reflectors installed on the roof. From there, these rays will first be reflected on the mirror and then through the next two lenses in the brass pipe, the rays will reach the mirror installed directly in front of Ramlala. This mirror is kept at an angle of sixty degrees from Ramlala. So that the anointment of these rays can be done directly on the head of Ram. The consecration of sun rays on Ramlala will be telecast live. 100 LED screens will be installed in Ayodhya so that devotees can watch this ceremony.
