He has said that if we continue to tamper with nature like this, then the day is not far when humans will destroy humanity. Arsenic in our rice, pesticides in our spices … the damage of industrialized agriculture accumulates.

Arsenic is being mixed in rice and pesticides in spices.
Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu, while sharing the news regarding that masala brand on social media platform X, said that arsenic is being found in our rice. Pesticides are being added to our spices. Due to the industrialization of agriculture, we are causing a huge loss to humanity. He further wrote that we have to take care of our land and water. We are misbehaving with our water sources and hence many health related problems are arising.
We will have to respect water, land and farmers
Sridhar Vembu wrote that if we do not start respecting our farmers then trouble is sure to come. We have to protect our land. The elements present in it will have to be nourished. If we do not take care of our ponds and lakes, we will get into big trouble. We are trying to extract water from more depth. This water is contaminated with arsenic and causes great harm to our health. If our attitude continues like this, we will soon destroy the human species ourselves. We have to respect the farmers. These are the hands that produce food for us. We have to connect with nature again.
Also expressed concern over the increasing number of fertility clinics
In his post, Zoho CEO also expressed concern over the increasing number of fertility clinics in Tamil Nadu. He wrote that we have to understand why this is happening. Actually, Everest's fish curry masala was banned in Singapore. While issuing the order on Thursday, Singapore Food Agency (SFA) had said that the amount of ethylene oxide in this spice is very high. It is not fit for human consumption. Ethylene Oxide is a pesticide.
