In this video, it can be seen just by looking at the agility of Alex's hands that he was just about to stump out the batsman. Alex Steele is actually a Scottish cricketer, who was born in 1941. He played cricket matches for Scotland in the 1970s. Alex had scored 621 runs in his first-class career of 14 matches. During this period he also played 2 half-century innings. Apart from this, as a wicketkeeper, he also took 11 catches and stumped the batsmen twice.
Alex Steele has been suffering from respiratory disease since 2020 and was told that his body will die between 1 year to 5 years. In fact, his lungs have started getting clogged, due to which he faces a lot of difficulty in breathing. Despite this, he has not stopped enjoying life and is concentrating his attention on cricket. Steele himself has said that the disease dominates you more when you let it dominate you. But Alex Steele's spirit has not weakened.
