Vande Bharat Train: Railways is constantly trying to increase the number of Vande Bharat trains across the country to connect every region of the country with semi high speed trains. Till now many states have been connected with this railway project. In the last few months, many new Vande Bharat Express trains have been started. Now South India (Vande Bharat Train in South India) is going to get the gift of Vande Bharat train once again. According to the report published in Times Now, the Railways is going to start the Vande Bharat train (Secunderabad to Tirupati Vande Bharat Train) soon between Secunderabad in Telangana to Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. The operation of this train will be started on April 8, 2023.
Vande Bharat train also runs between Sinkrabad-Vishakhapatnam
It is to be noted that this will be the second train connecting both the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, the operation of Vande Bharat train was started between Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam from 15 January. This train completes the distance of 698 km in just 8 hours. This train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This train stops only at four stations Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada Junction and Rajahmundry.
What will be the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat fare?
Vande Bharat train running between Secunderabad and Tirupati will run 6 days a week like other trains. At present, the Railways has not given information about the route, fare and timing of this train. Railways will provide more information about this in the coming days.
Two more Vande Bharat trains will run in Telangana
It is noteworthy that apart from the Secunderabad-Tirupati route, plans are being made to operate Vande Bharat train on two more routes in Telangana. According to the report, there is a plan to run Vande Bharat trains between Hyderabad’s Kachiguda to Bangalore and Secunderabad to Pune. At present, the Railways has not given any information about when these trains will be started. So far, a total of 10 Vande Bharat trains are being operated in the country.
Special features of Vande Bharat train
Vande Bharat train is made of 100 percent indigenous technology. It was first run between New Delhi to Varanasi. Since then this train is being run between many cities of the country. The special thing about this train is that it is running at 160 km per hour, which can be increased up to 200 km. It takes only 52 seconds for this train to reach the speed of 100 kilometers per hour. In this, automatic doors are fitted in the train. Along with this, there are seats that can rotate up to 180 degrees. This train is equipped with many facilities like CCTV cameras (CCV), power backup, GPS based information system (GPS Information System), vacuum toilet.
