upsc cse result 2023 success story abp journalist shahenshah siddiqui narkatiaganj west champaran bihar love life family education unknown facts

Shahenshah Siddiqui Unknown Facts: Social service is in his blood. I got this passion from my father and my elder brother encouraged me. This was the reason that after completing his studies in Civil Engineering, he became a magician of the pen i.e. a journalist and now he has made his mark in UPSC i.e. Civil Services. We are talking about Shahenshah Siddiqui of Narkatiaganj, who has become the 'Shahenshah' of his city by securing 762nd rank in UPSC. Let us tell you that at one time Shahenshah was a part of the team of news channel ABP's show 'Sansani', but due to his passion for social service, he said goodbye to journalism and started trying his luck in UPSC. Time hit him five times, but he did not let his courage break and proved in the sixth time that he was made for social service.

Who is Shahenshah Siddiqui?

Shahenshah Siddiqui, who hails from small town Narkatiaganj in West Champaran district of Bihar, inherited the passion for social service. Actually, his father Mohammad Rizwanullah was a teacher by profession, who is now retired. He always advised his children to follow the noble path, the result of which was that Shahenshah's elder brother Shahnawaz Rizwan is a social worker.

Where did you get your education from?

Shahenshah, who grew up in Suman Vihar area, received his early education in Narkatiaganj. At the same time, he did 10th and 12th from TP Verma College. After this, he did civil engineering from Vinayak Mission University, Chennai.

Passion for social service linked to journalism

Shahenshah, who had the passion to do something for the society, had done civil engineering, but as per his career, he could not make up his mind to go in this direction. In such a situation, he turned to the world of journalism and joined ABP. He worked prominently in ABP's show Sansani. Apart from this, he also did many special shows and earned a lot of fame.

This is how the attitude towards UPSC happened

While doing journalism, Shahenshah observed the system very closely and understood it. He came to know that he could do something only by joining the system. In such a situation, he turned towards UPSC. While working in ABP, he gave three attempts, but got stuck in Prelims. After this, he left his three-year association with ABP and set out to make his way in civil services. While talking to ABP, Shahenshah told that people of Bihar dream of becoming IAS since childhood, but he did not even think about it at that time. While working in ABP, he dreamed of clearing UPSC.

When the exam went wrong due to love

After saying goodbye to ABP, Shahenshah gave his fourth attempt of UPSC, but this time too he could not cross the hurdle of Prelims. He cleared Prelims for the fifth time and started preparing for Mains wholeheartedly. This was the period when someone had knocked into the life of the emperor. Flowers of love had blossomed in his heart, but before the Mains exam, his heart broke so much that the pages of the exam got drenched in his tears. Shahenshah himself told that in the fifth attempt, he had a big argument with his girlfriend a day before the Mains exam, which affected his exam and he could not clear the Mains.

This friend provided support at every turn

According to Shahenshah, when he failed in five consecutive attempts of UPSC, he was not only failing in the exam but also in life. He didn't have any job. Often thought that I don't know what will happen? Where will the destination take you? However, he used to promise himself daily that these days will pass and better days will definitely come. Life is not that short. Hard work will definitely pay off one day. Shahenshah told that during that time Saket Jha, who became his friend in ABP, helped him at every turn. Besides, it also helped in fighting depression. Saket always used to say that there is no need to be afraid, Shahenshah. Have to move forward. Have to keep struggling and one day become the 'emperor' of reality.

Gave this message to the youth

Shahenshah also told the youth how to deal with UPSC fever. Shahenshah said that I had chosen the philosophy option. During my studies, I learned to manage situations through Buddha Theory. Took knowledge from Geeta also. He said that we overrate UPSC, which puts pressure on boys. Due to this they take wrong steps. It is definitely difficult, but it is like a normal exam. Even if you are not able to pass this exam, there is no problem. You can become wise by going through this. You can become a person who can do something good in life. The entire process of UPSC exam is very wonderful.

What would you have done if you had not passed now?

During the conversation, we asked Shahenshah that what would he have done if he had not cleared UPSC even in the sixth attempt? In response to this he started laughing. He said that if the result was not positive this time, I would have started preparing my resume and applied for the job in ABP once again. However, now that I have found my destination, I will fulfill my dream of social service.
