UPSC Tejas Krishna Prasad Success Story: During Corona, many people's dreams were broken and many people also lost their loved ones. During this period, the careers of many players also ended. But this disruption of Covid-19 turned out to be a boon for Bengaluru shooter Tejas Krishna Prasad. Actually, Krishna Prasad was among the potential players for Tokyo Olympics. On Tuesday, the air rifle shooter passed the civil services examination and secured 243rd rank.

According to media reports, Prasad says that being a player helped him keep his focus and succeed in civil services in the second attempt. He says that there was no competition when Covid started and that is when he thought that he should try his hand at UPSC. It took him two attempts to pass this exam.

Mother is an excise inspector

Tejas Krishna Prasad is a student of Sri Kumaran Public School. He has completed BE from RV College. Tejas's mother is an excise inspector, whose hobby is shooting. Tejas took inspiration from his mother. He tried his hand in shooting since 2014. He was also in India's junior squad in 2016. Krishna says that till the year 2019, he was at number 4 in India. He represented the country in both the World Cups in Beijing and Munich. He was a part of the senior team from 2018 to 2020.

Got inspiration from mother

He says that he will continue shooting even after being selected as a civil servant. After a while we do not need much time for preparation. He says that his mother always inspired him to join civil services.
