Highest Test Batting Average: There are some selected batsmen in Test cricket who always believed in fast batting. This was the reason that this player could register many records in his name in the test. Don Bradman retired from Test in the year 1948. Nearly 75 years later, even today he has the highest batting average in Tests. Bradman was the cricketer who scored a triple century in a single day in Test. He made this record against England at Headingley. Had he not been dismissed for a duck in his last Test, he would have had a batting average of 100 in the longest format of cricket. Come, in this article, let us tell you about those six batsmen in the world whose batting average is 60 or more in Tests.
Bradman’s highest average
Former Australian captain and legendary cricketer Sir Don Bradman has the highest Test batting average. He played 52 Tests in his career. During this, Bradman scored 6996 runs at an average of 99.94. This is the highest batting average of any batsman in Test cricket so far. If Bradman had not been dismissed for zero by Eric Hollies in the last Test match, he would have averaged 100 in Test batting.
