The prize money for winning the first season of the South Africa T20 League is 70 million rand, which means the Sunrisers Eastern Cap has received prize money of around Rs 33.5 crore. Aiden Markram scored a total of 365 runs in the South Africa T20 League at an average of 36.5. He was the third highest run scorer in this tournament. During this, his best innings was 100 runs, in which he scored runs at a strike rate of 172.41. Markram also helped his team a lot with bowling.

Even in the final match against Pretoria Capitals, Sunrisers Eastern Cap captain Aiden Markram bowled the first 4 overs, taking one wicket for just 17 runs at an economy of just 4.20. After that, in batting also, Markram helped his team to win by playing an inning of 26 runs in 19 balls at a strike rate of 136.84.
