Stock Market Update: Today's movement of the Indian stock market is fast. Despite the market opening being in decline, the stock market has regained momentum and the Sensex is again trading beyond the level of 74,000. Today, Axis Bank has become the top gainer of both Sensex and Nifty indices with great growth.

Just one hour after the opening of the stock market, i.e. at 10.20 am, Sensex-Nifty are trading with great speed. BSE Sensex is trading at the level of 74,098 with a good gain of 245.79 points or 0.33 percent. NSE's Nifty is trading at 22,465 after a rise of 63.45 points or 0.28 percent.

How was the beginning of the market?

Today's trading started with a fall and BSE Sensex opened at the level of 73,572 after a fall of 280.59 points or 0.38 percent. NSE's Nifty opened at the level of 22,316 with a decline of 85.50 points or 0.38 percent.

Sensex shares rise

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 23 are trading with a rise while only 7 stocks are witnessing a decline. Among the top Sensex gainers, Axis Bank is up by about 4 percent and Sun Pharma is up by 1.61 percent. Today HCL Tech is up 1.58 percent and SBI is up 1.27 percent. ICICI Bank is up by 1.23 percent and SBI is up by 1.22 percent.

If we look at Nifty shares, 33 out of its 50 shares are trading with a rise and 16 shares are seeing a decline. A stock is trading with no change. Among the top gainers, Axis Bank has jumped more than 4 percent and Sun Pharma is up 1.63 percent. SBI has increased by 1.51 percent and ICICI Bank by 1.28 percent. M&M's share is seen with a strength of 1.25 percent.

Shares of Bank, Auto, IT, Media, Oil & Gas, Pharma, Healthcare index are showing a rise in the market and are supporting the market. Apart from this, business is being seen in the red zone of decline in realty, consumer durables, financial services and FMCG sectors.
