Stock Market Opening: The trend of weakness in the Indian stock market continues and even today the stock market is open with a decline. Sensex-Nifty have opened with great weakness and with 1200 shares falling, only 300 shares are on the rise. Due to the fall of about 450 points in Bank Nifty, the market is not getting support.
How did the markets open today?
BSE's Sensex opened at 72,892 with a decline of 507.64 points or 0.69 percent and NSE's Nifty opened at 22,125 with a weakness of 147.20 points or 0.66 percent.
Situation of Sensex shares
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, only 10 are showing strength and 20 are trading with a decline. Among the rising stocks, Tata Steel is the top gainer and along with it, shares of Maruti Suzuki, Titan, M&M, Nestle and JSW Steel are trading with gains. Among the falling stocks, IndusInd Bank is down 1.48 percent, Bajaj Finance is down 1.26 percent. Infosys has slipped 1.25 percent and Bajaj Finserv has slipped 1.07 percent. Kotak Mahindra Bank is 1.06 per cent weaker and ICICI Bank is trading 0.95 per cent lower.

Out of 50 shares of NSE Nifty, 22 shares are registering a rise and 28 shares are trading with a decline. ONGC is the top gainer and is up by 1.43 percent. With this, shares of Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hero MotoCorp and Coal India are seeing a rise.
Market Capitalization of BSE
The market capitalization of BSE has come down to Rs 394.44 lakh crore, whereas after reaching the peak level of the market, it had increased to more than Rs 402 lakh crore. 2781 stocks are being traded on BSE and 1779 stocks are seeing a rise. Today 907 shares are trading at a decline and 95 shares are trading without any change. Upper circuit is imposed on 84 shares and lower circuit is imposed on 41 shares.
