Stock Market Opening: The movement of the Indian stock market is slow today and the market has got off to a sluggish start. PSU Bank Index is on the decline and due to this, weakness is being seen in bank shares which is pulling the market down. Profit booking is dominating the domestic market and smallcap-midcap indices are trading in the red. Due to pressure on Metal Index, Pharma Index, Financial Services Sector, IT Sector and Banking Sector, the market is not getting enthusiasm and it is still in decline.

Today, BSE Sensex has opened at the level of 74,889 with a decline of 148.51 points or 0.20 percent and NSE's Nifty has opened at the level of 22,677 with a weakness of 76.40 points or 0.34 percent.
What is the condition of Sensex shares?
Out of 30 shares of BSE Sensex, 11 shares are trading with a rise and 19 shares are declining. Among the top gainers of the market, NTPC is trading at 2.68 percent, Tata Motors at 1.27 percent, L&T at 0.66 percent, Nestle at 0.56 percent and Reliance Industries at 0.36 percent. Apart from this, Sun Pharma has fallen 1.50 percent among today's Sensex top losers. Maruti is trading down by 1.28 percent, JSW Steel by 1.22 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank by about one percent and Asian Paints by 0.85 percent.
