Reliance Q4 Results: There has been a decline in the profits of the country's largest private company Reliance Industries in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2023-24. The profit of Reliance Industries has declined by about 2 percent to Rs 18,951 crore. Earlier, the company's profit in the fourth quarter of the financial year was Rs 19,299 crore. In the fourth quarter, Reliance's revenue from operations has increased by 11 percent to Rs 2.4 lakh crore, which was Rs 2.16 lakh crore in the fourth quarter of the previous financial year. Reliance Industries has also announced a dividend of Rs 10 per share to its shareholders.
Pre-tax profit crosses Rs 1 lakh crore
In a regulatory filing with the stock exchange, Reliance Industries said that the company's consolidated revenue for the entire financial year stood at Rs 10000122 crore ($ 119.9 billion), a rise of 2.6 percent. The company said that the pre-tax profit for the entire financial year has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore and is Rs 104727 crore, which is 11.4 percent more than the previous financial year. Whereas after paying tax, the profit in the entire financial year has been Rs 79020 crore.
Indian economy strengthened
On the quarterly results, Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani said, all the businesses of Reliance have made a big contribution in taking the Indian economy forward. All segments have demonstrated excellent financial and operating performance, boosting the Indian economy. With this the company has achieved many milestones. He said that I am happy to tell that Reliance has become the first company in the country whose pre-tax profit has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore.
Increase in profit of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail
Along with Reliance Industries, the results of Jio Platforms have also been declared. In the fourth quarter, the revenue of Jio Platforms has increased by 13.3 percent to Rs 33,835 crore, while the net profit has been Rs 5583 crore, which was Rs 4985 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. The revenue of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited in the fourth quarter has increased by 10.6 percent to Rs 76,627 crore and the company has made a net profit of Rs 2698 crore in this quarter, which was Rs 2415 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
