Mukesh Ambani Company Reliance Jio: Reliance Jio has stepped up preparations to rollout the 5G network. Right now its trial is being done in many areas of the country and now a new information has come to the fore. According to the new data of the Department of Telecom, 1 lakh towers of 5G have been installed to provide India’s fastest network and make deep penetration, which is 5 times of its other telecom company.
According to the Department of Telecommunication’s National EMF Portal, Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Jio has 99,897 BTS installed on its own 2 frequencies 700 MHz and 3,500 MHz. Whereas 22,219 BTS of Bharti Airtel have been installed. Jio has 3 cells installed at each base station and Airtel has two cells installed. More towers and cell sites means the network will be faster.
Where is the speed of 5G
Ookla said in the report that it has been in India for more than four months and is already having a tremendous impact on the mobile situation in the country. According to the report, Jio achieved the top average 5G download speed of 506.25 Mbps in Kolkata, while Airtel achieved 268.89 Mbps speed in Delhi. Airtel and Jio, the country’s top telecom companies, are ready to rollout 5G and are doing trials.
5G started in October
India has more than half a billion internet users, which has become the second largest market in the world. In the first place is China. 5G was launched for trial in October 2022, which is currently being run in many areas.
Jio will do the fastest 5G rollout: Akash Ambani
During last month, Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani had said in a post budget webinar of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology that India’s largest telecom company will do the fastest 5G rollout in the world.
