1. Ramraja Temple, Madhya Pradesh

This temple of Orchha in Madhya Pradesh is very famous. It is said that Queen Kumari of Orchha was a great devotee of Ganesh Ram. She had brought him from Ayodhya in his childhood itself. Lord Ram is also worshiped as a king in Madhya Pradesh. Ramaraja Temple is the only temple where Lord Rama is given a gun salute (guard of honour) four times daily.

2. Kalaram Temple, Nashik, Maharashtra

Before attending the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the 11-day special rituals from Kalaram temple. This temple is located in Panchavati area of ​​Nashik city of Maharashtra. It is said that this temple is situated at the same place where Lord Rama stayed during his exile. It was built in 1782 by Sardar Rangrao Odhekar on the site of an old wooden temple. The temple has black stone idols of Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana and stands about 2 feet high.

3. Ramaswamy Temple, Tamil Nadu

This temple was built 400 years ago by King Raghunath Naykar in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. A glimpse of Ramayana can also be seen in this temple. In the sanctum sanctorum, the idols of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita are seen sitting together in marital posture. The temple has idols of Rama, Sita and Lakshman along with Shatrughan and Bharat. On the left side of Lord Rama, Shatrughan is seen holding a fan, while Bharat is seen holding the royal umbrella and on the right side, Hanuman is seen.

4. Sita Ramachandraswami Temple, Telangana

This Ram temple is very famous in India. It is located at Bhadrachalam in Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana. A huge crowd gathers there on the day of Ram Navami. On the day of Ram Navami, the marriage of Lord Ram and Sita is celebrated with great pomp. This temple is also known as Bhadrachalam Temple. It is said that during their exile, Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana stayed at Parnashala, 35 km from Bhadrachalam. Local people say that Lord Rama crossed the Godavari river while going to Sri Lanka to rescue Sita. The Bhadrachalam temple is situated on the north side of the river at the same place.

5. Triprayar Sri Rama Temple, Kerala

This temple is located in Thrissur district of Kerala. Lord Rama is known there as Triprayarappan or Triprayar Thevar. It is believed that Lord Krishna used to worship the idol of Rama in this temple. When Lord Krishna left this world, the idol was immersed in the sea. Later this idol was found by some fishermen and they installed it in Goli in Chettuwa area of ​​Kerala. Later a local ruler named Vakkal Kamal built a temple at Triprayar and installed an idol there. The idol of Rama in the temple is seen holding conch, chakra, bow and garland in four hands.

6. Ram Mandir, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

This temple is near Kharavela Nagar of Bhubaneswar. Located in the heart of the city, this temple is one of the most famous temples for the devotees of Lord Rama. The temple has beautiful statues of Lord Rama, Lakshmana and Sita, which is constructed and managed by a private trust. Apart from this, there are also temples of Hanuman, Shankar and other deities in the temple complex.

7. Kodandarama Temple, Karnataka

This temple is located in Hiremagalur, Karnataka, which falls in Chikmagalur district. The name of this temple is Kodandarama, because Lord Rama and Lakshmana are depicted here with their bow and arrows and the bow of Lord Rama is known as Kodanda. There are idols of Ram, Lakshman and Sita at Hanuman Chowki in the sanctum sanctorum. Everywhere Sita is seen on the left side of Ram, but in this temple Sita is on the right side of Ram. It is believed that a devotee Purushottam wanted to see the marriage of Lord Rama and Sita and thus his wish was fulfilled. During a traditional Hindu wedding, the bride sits on the right side of the groom.

8. Shri Ram Tirath Temple, Amritsar

This temple is located on Chogwan Road, 12 km west of Amritsar. This is the place where Sita took refuge in the ashram of sage Valmiki. It was here that she gave birth to Luv and Kush. There is also a well with stairs, where Goddess Sita used to bathe. In such a situation, this temple is considered one of the most sacred Ram temples in India.

9.Raghunath Temple, Jammu

There are seven temples in this temple of Jammu. It is one of the largest temple complexes in North India. This temple was built by Maharaja Gulab Singh and his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh during 1853-1860. There are many deities in the temple, but the main deity is Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

10. Sri Sita Ramachandraswami Temple, Telangana

The history of Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple in Bhadrachalam is similar to Ramayana. This temple is related to the story of Bhadra. It is said that when Lord Vishnu took the form of Rama to answer Bhadra's prayer, he forgot that he was an ordinary man and instead appeared with four arms. Since then, the faith of the devotees remains in Chaturbhuj Vaikuntha.
