Pan Aadhaar Link: Recently, the Income Tax Department has asked PAN holders to link PAN card with Aadhaar by the end of March 2023. If the holders do not do this, then their PAN card will be closed. The last date to link PAN and Aadhaar card is March 31, 2023. The government has made it clear that if someone does not link PAN and Aadhaar card by March 31, 2023, then his PAN will become inactive.

How to link Aadhaar and PAN card through SMS?

Open the text message app on your phone.

Now enter UIDPAN (space) 12-digit Aadhaar number (space) 10-digit PAN number on the keypad.

Now send this message to either 567678 or 56161 from your registered number.

After sending the message, you will get a confirm message regarding Aadhaar and PAN card linking.

How to link PAN-Aadhaar online?

• eportal.incometax.gov.in Or incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in Go to
• Register on the website. Keep in mind that your PAN or Aadhaar number will be set as the User ID.
• Use your User ID, Password and DOB to login to the portal.
• Click on the Link Aadhaar option visible on the homepage
• Now type your PAN and Aadhaar number and write your Aadhaar card name.
• Type captcha for verification.
• After linking of Aadhaar and PAN card, you will get a confirmation notification.

Note : If the details of your PAN and Aadhaar card do not match, you will get a rejection message. In this case, you will have to reapply for the one in which you have wrong information to link both the cards with the correct information.
