How to check PAN Aadhaar status

• For this, first go to the UIDAI website https://uidai.gov.in/.

• After this PAN number has to be entered and Captcha code has to be filled.
• After this, click on Get Linking Status to check the status of PAN and Aadhaar linking.
• After this, you will know within a few minutes whether your PAN and Aadhaar are linked or not.

PAN-Aadhaar linking process-

1. To link PAN with Aadhaar, you first go to the income tax e-filing website www.incometax.gov.in.
2. Next enter Login Details.
3. Then go to the Quick section and fill your PAN, Aadhaar number and mobile number there.
4. After this, the option of ‘I validate my Aadhaar details’ has to be selected.
5. Finally, OTP will come on your registered mobile number, enter it here.
6. Lastly, by paying a fine of Rs 1,000, you will be able to link the two easily.
