Pakistan Petrol Diesel Rates: The difficulties of the people in Pakistan, which is facing economic crisis, is not taking its name. Now once again there has been an increase in the price of petrol and diesel. The local currency of Pakistan, which has become poor, is also falling since last year. Pakistan’s rupee has fallen 57 percent from last year to Rs 280.77 till March 10, 2023.
This increased price of petrol in Pakistan will be effective from today i.e. March 16. According to the information, these prices will continue to increase till March 31, after which revision can be done again. According to the report of PKRevenue, the price of petrol has come down slightly from the previous increase, but the price has reached a record high level.
How much increased the prices of petrol and diesel
According to the report, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 5 per litre. At the same time, the price of diesel has increased more than double. The price of High Speed Diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs 13 per litre. The price of kerosene oil has increased by Rs 2.56 per litre. However, there has been no change in the price of light diesel oil.
Know the cost of petrol and diesel
- After this increase, MS petrol has now increased from Rs 267 per liter to Rs 272 per litre.
- The price of high speed diesel has increased from Rs 280 to Rs 293 per litre.
- The price of kerosene has increased from Rs 187.73 to Rs 190.29 per litre.
- The price of Light Diesel is Rs.184.68.
Fall in crude oil prices
On the other hand, the price of crude oil is continuously falling in the international market. Affected by the Russia-Ukraine war, Brent crude oil had risen by 30 percent to reach a record $ 115 per barrel in March last year and is now down to $ 83 per barrel in March 2023.
