Non Resident Indians (NRIs) living outside the country will soon be able to make UPI payments through international mobile numbers. In this regard, NPCI has allowed users of certain countries from the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) ecosystem to use the UPI facility for non-resident account types such as non-resident external (NRE) and non-resident ordinary (NRO) international accounts. Facility will be available in these countries
Initially this facility is going to be available for the expatriates of these 10 countries.
