New feature coming in WhatsApp, without going into chat, you will be able to block people from outside

More than 2 billion people use WhatsApp worldwide. This instant messaging app is not only used for personal conversations, but also for professional work, even the big updates of the government go through this app today. Meta is constantly working to improve the user experience on this app. Meanwhile, there is news that WhatsApp is going to add a new feature to the app soon. Under this, users will be able to block people from the chat list itself. Know about this.

According to WABetaInfo, a website that monitors the development of WhatsApp, WhatsApp is about to add the block feature to the chat list. That is, in the new update, people will see the block option in the chat list itself. Now if a person opens the chat list, then here he does not see the option of block on the top right corner. Only the option of New Group, New Broadcast, Link Device, Star Message, Payment and Settings is visible.  But after the new update, users will also see the option of block here and they will be able to block people. The information about how long the new feature will be rolled out has not been revealed yet. But as always it will come in beta version first.

Currently you can block someone like this

If you want to block someone on WhatsApp, then first you have to go to the chat list that you want to block. On coming to the chat window, click on the 3 dots visible in the top right corner. Here you will see the option of block. You have to confirm as soon as you click on block, after which the person in front will be blocked from your chat list and then he will neither be able to see your online status nor send you messages.
