Church is for worship, not courtship.
Katherine Schwarzenegger assured fans that her husband Chris Pratt didn’t ask her to cross paths inside a prayer house for the first time in 2018.
“We met each other at church. It was very sweet, but he didn’t try to pick me up in church,” the 33-year-old explained on Friday’s episode “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
She said, “Everyone’s always like, ‘How come you were in church? How’d that work?’
Barrymore, who called Pratt her “favorite person” who “puts goodness into the world,” went on to ask Schwarzenegger how she knew the “Parks and Recreation” alum was The One.
The daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver did not respond, instead suggesting that her mother introduce Barrymore to a new man.

In fact, Shriver, 67, was reportedly the one to introduce Kathryn and Pratt.
When the actor proposed in January 2019, the journalist gushed over his daughter and future son-in-law via Instagram.
“Congratulations to two loving, kind, caring, thoughtful, spiritual people,” Shriver wrote at the time. “We are so happy to have you. You are blessed, as you all know. Yes let’s go.”
For Pratt, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star wrote, “Sweet Katherine, so glad you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you.
“Proud to live boldly in faith with you,” he concluded. instagram announcement, “here is my.”
The two married in June of that year at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.
Since tying the knot, Katherine has given birth to daughters Lyla, 2, and Eloise, 8 months, in August 2020 and May 2022, respectively.
Pratt is also father to 10-year-old son Jack with Anna Faris, to whom he was married from 2009 to 2018.
