Reliance Jio Quarterly Result: Reliance Industries' results, which came on Monday evening, showed the company's excellent performance and good business results from its telecom and retail businesses also made investors happy. The net profit of Jio Platforms, the telecom and digital business unit of Reliance Industries, increased by 12 percent on an annual basis to Rs 5,583 crore in the March quarter of the last financial year 2023-24.
During this period, the company benefited from increase in the number of customers and increase in charges. However, ARPU (average revenue per user) remained the same as the previous level at Rs 181.7. Jio said that with more than 10.8 crore customers, it is now taking the country forward in the direction of 5G. This is the largest 5G customer base for any telecom operator outside China.
Revenue of Jio platforms also increased tremendously.
Jio Platforms' revenue increased by 13.3 percent to Rs 33,835 crore in the quarter under review. During this period, income from operations increased by 13.4 percent to Rs 28,871 crore. The company said that its ARPU was Rs 181.7, in which no separate charge is being taken for 5G services.

Its net profit increased by 12 percent to Rs 5,583 crore in the January-March quarter of the financial year 2023-24. Jio Platforms reported a net profit of Rs 21,423 crore for the entire financial year 2023-24, which is 12 percent higher on an annual basis.

He said that with more than 1.08 crore 5G customers, Jio is truly leading the 5G transformation in India. From helping 2G users adopt smartphones to providing AI based solutions, Jio has always proven its capability in strengthening the digital infrastructure of the country.

The full year operational revenue of Jio Platforms increased by 11.6 percent on annual basis to Rs 109,558 crore. Reliance Jio's net profit on standalone basis increased by 13 percent on annual basis to Rs 5,337 crore in the March quarter of the last financial year 2023-24. The company's operational income increased by 11 percent to Rs 25,959 crore in the fourth quarter.
Reliance Jio said in the information given to the stock market on Monday that the company's net profit for the entire financial year 2023-24 increased by 12.4 percent to Rs 20,466 crore as compared to the previous financial year. In the financial year, Reliance Jio's income increased by 10.2 percent to Rs 1,00,119 crore as compared to the year before.
