Actually, last Wednesday the 8th match of IPL 2024 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. In this match, Hyderabad batted first and scored 277 runs. In response, Mumbai team could score only 246 runs. During this innings, Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 26 runs. After Rohit's dismissal, a person named Bandopant Bapso Tibile (age 63 years) asked Mumbai fans a question about the victory. He became irritated at this and hit the old man on the head with a stick. The elderly fan was seriously injured. He was admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment.
Police arrested the attackers –
Bandopant was a resident of Kolhapur. Karveer police of Kolhapur has arrested the attackers. Mumbai fan Balwant Mahadev is 50 years old. The age of the other fan Sagar Sadashiv is said to be 35 years. Both of them are now in police custody. Even before this, there has been a ruckus between the fans of two teams many times. But this matter proved to be very fatal.
