ENGW vs INDW Test: The only test match between the women's teams of India and England was played at DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. In the match, host India gave a big defeat to England by 347 runs. This was the biggest win in terms of runs in the women's test. India defeated England on the third day of the five-day Test. Team India, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, dominated the English team on all three days of the match.
India won the toss and put 428 runs on the board in the first innings. Then England were bowled out for 136 runs in the first innings. Then in the second innings the innings was declared after scoring 186 runs for 6 wickets. Then, while chasing the target, England were all out for 131 runs. India had set a target of 479 runs for England, against which England collapsed for just 131 runs.
This was the condition of the entire test from beginning to end.
Team India, who came to bat first, put 428 runs on the board. Shubha Satish scored the maximum 69 runs for the team. Apart from this, Jemimah Rodrigues scored 68, Deepti Sharma scored 67 and Yastika Bhatia scored 66 runs. Then in the first innings, England came out to bat and the Indian bowlers bowled out England for 136 runs. During this, Deepti Sharma made her name with five wickets. Apart from this, Sneha Yadav took 2 wickets in her account. Whereas Pooja Vastrakar and Renuka Singh got 1 success each.
