Let’s know what Indian captain Rohit Sharma said after this great victory.
Mohammad Siraj is a unique talent – Rohit Sharma
Talking after the match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma said, “It was a great series for us. Lots of positive things. We bowled brilliantly, got wickets when needed and it was good to see the batsmen scoring runs throughout the series. It was good to see how he (Siraj) was bowling and he deserved all those spills. He is an amazing talent. The way he has come forward in the last few years, it is good to see. He has gone from strength to strength and it is really good for Indian cricket. We did all those things to get him five wickets but unfortunately it didn’t happen. But all four wickets are his and Pajan (5 wickets) will also come soon.
Talking further, Rohit said, “He has some tricks of his own, on which he is working and that was seen here. We will quickly go to the drawing board for the next series and see how the pitch is, then decide what the combination will be like. They (New Zealand) are coming after winning the series in Pakistan. So it will not be an easy task.
