India vs New Zealand T20 and ODI series: Team India will be announced soon for the ODI and T20 series against New Zealand. Kiwi team will play 3 ODIs, 3 T20s
The New Zealand team will play three ODIs and three T20 Internationals on the tour of India. The tour will start with the ODI series and the first match will be played in Hyderabad on 18 January. While the second ODI will be held in Indore on January 21, the third ODI will be held in Raipur on January 24. After the ODI series, a series of three T20 matches will be played between the two countries. The first match of this series will be played in Ranchi on January 27, the second match in Lucknow on January 29 while the third and final T20 match will be played in Ahmedabad on February 1.
Sanju Samson may be out
For the series against New Zealand, the selectors will talk to NCS chief VVS Laxman over phone about Ravindra Jadeja’s injury. If the NCA chief gives clearance, then Jadeja’s selection in the team is certain. If Jadeja comes in the team, then such Sanju Samson will have to go out. Apart from Sanju, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah can also be out of the series against New Zealand. Because Bumrah has a back problem and he withdrew a day before the ODI series against Sri Lanka. A decision will also be taken regarding the future of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the T20 series against New Zealand.
