ICICI Bank iMobile Glitch: There have been reports of technical problems on ICICI Bank's mobile application iMobile Pay. Some users have claimed that they can see sensitive credit card information of others on this platform. As soon as this problem came to light, ICICI Bank came into action and currently iMobile users are not able to see their credit card details on the app. Probably the bank has taken security measures and prevented visibility of everyone's card details.
What are the dangers?
TechnoFino founder Sumanta Mandal has posted about this incident on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). With this post he has also tagged ICICI Bank and the country's central bank Reserve Bank of India and asked them to look into the matter immediately.
Users are able to view ICICI Bank credit card details of other customers
Sumant Mandal has written that many users have reported that they are able to see ICICI Bank credit card details of other customers on their iMobile app. In this, the complete number of the credit card, expiry date and even CVV can be seen on the mobile. Even the option to manage international transaction settings can be seen. Therefore, it will be possible for anyone to do international transactions on the credit cards of such users, which can create huge financial problems.
It seems ICICI Bank has restricted access to credit card details on the iMobile app for everyone. https://t.co/nOt8Abv3rc

ICICI Bank took this step!
When many users reported the same problem on social media, Sumant Mandal posted that perhaps to resolve this issue, ICIC Bank has just stopped credit card information from being visible on the iMobile app. When we also tried to access credit card information on the iMobile app, it was not visible.
advised to block the card
To ensure that common users do not suffer any loss due to this problem, the founder of TechnoFino has advised that the users should block their credit cards.
