Holi 2024: Today is the day of Holika Dahan. So, tomorrow i.e. 25th March is the day of Dhulwadi. As the day of Holi is approaching, the youth is filled with joy and enthusiasm. Some people do not like to play with colors, but some like to sprinkle colors. But, in such times it is more important to take care of your skin. Because the colors available in the market contain harmful chemicals. Due to which problems like pimples and irritation may occur on your face. Especially if your skin is sensitive then you need to take special care during Holi. Because, even a little carelessness can spoil your face.
This time try to play chemical free and safe Holi i.e. use home made colors instead of market colors. This will not cause any harm to your skin, hair and eyes and will also not cause any harm to your health. Hydrate your skin the day before
If you have sensitive skin, hydrate your skin with products recommended by your doctor the night before Holi. After this, do not forget to apply SPF 30 or SPF 50 sunscreen on your face as soon as you wake up in the morning. With its help, your skin will be protected from ultraviolet rays as well as the effects of harmful colors.

After applying sunscreen, apply a thick layer of either petroleum jelly or olive and coconut oil on your face. Before playing with colour, apply oil to your hair thoroughly.

If you have got color on your face, do not rub it too much, instead first wash your face with foam face wash and then clean your skin with a good cleanser. After this, make a paste by mixing gram flour, turmeric, rice flour, rose water and a little coconut oil. Apply this paste on the face, leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and clean the face with light massage. However, do a patch test of this paste first.
Take care of your skin like this after playing with colors
After removing the color, apply moisturizer on the face and if you are troubled by rashes, you can apply fresh aloe vera gel. After Holi, avoid using any kind of chemical make-up product on the face for two to three days and avoid treatments like facials or bleach.
