Apart from this, deficiency of this vitamin was found in 72 percent people in Delhi-NCR. Deficiency of this vitamin is most common among youth. Vitamin D deficiency was found in 84 percent of the youth up to 25 years. This condition was found in 81 percent of people aged 25-40 years.

Vitamin D is also called the sunshine vitamin. This vitamin is very important for strong immunity, bone strength, mental health, muscles and metabolism. When one does not get enough vitamin D in the body, the deficiency builds up over time. Vitamin D deficiency has many adverse health effects.

How to cure Vitamin D deficiency?
Experts say that many measures can be taken to overcome the deficiency of Vitamin D in the body.

2. Exposure to sunlight also cures vitamin D deficiency. Expose your face, back and legs to the sun for 30 minutes twice a day.
3. Take a Vitamin D supplement.
