Drinking water after waking up in the morning is called 'Ushapan' in Ayurveda and the right time for it is also mentioned.
According to Ayurveda, the right time to drink water is Brahma Muhurta after waking up in the morning on an empty stomach.
If you wake up early in the morning before the sun rises, it will be beneficial for you.
For those who wake up 2-3 hours after sunrise or later, water is not as beneficial during fasting.
How much water you should drink in the morning depends on the time you wake up and your digestion.
According to Ayurveda, to remain healthy it is necessary for the digestive fire to be healthy.
Drinking water at the right time keeps the digestion process healthy. But drinking water at the wrong time can also cause harm.
