WPL 2023 Auction Live: Australia’s star all-rounder Ashley Gardner has been included in their team by Gujarat Giants by paying a hefty amount of 3.2 crores. Gardner’s base price was Rs.50 lakhs. Many franchises bid on him, but in the end Gujarat made him a part of their team by making the best bid. 25-year-old Ashley Gardner is an experienced Australian player. He has played all three formats for Australia. At the same time, his strike rate in T20 International has been very good.

Represents Australia in all three formats

Ashley Gardner is seen playing all three formats for Australia. He has played a total of 3 Tests, 52 ODIs and 68 T20 International matches in international cricket so far. While batting in Tests, he has scored 157 runs at an average of 39.25 and has taken 4 wickets in bowling. At the same time, in 36 innings of ODIs, he has scored a total of 686 runs at an average of 24.50 and has taken a total of 58 wickets while bowling. His batting average is 117.26.
