Google rolled out dark mode for web version of Drive

Google Drive Dark Mode: Dark mode is something that many users have started using now. This is the reason why tech companies around the world provide the facility of dark mode in any of their products, but the dark mode feature was not yet available in the web version of Google Drive, which was also a surprising thing.

Dark mode comes in the web version of Google Drive

However, now Google has finally started rolling out dark mode for the web version of Google Drive as well. The demand for this feature was very high. Dark mode was made available in Google Drive apps for Android and iOS devices long ago, but till now people were not able to use dark mode in the web version. After the introduction of dark mode in the web version of Google Drive, now the eyes of the users using Google Drive on the computer will not be strained, and those who have weak eyes, or those who have problem with screen light, get headache, that too. You can use Google Drive with dark theme on your computer.

These steps have to be followed

Google has officially announced dark mode in Drive itself. To activate dark mode in the web version of their Google Drive, users will have to follow these steps – Drive > Settings > Appearance > Dark Mode. After dark mode is introduced in users' web Google Drive, when users open their Google Drive on their computer for the first time, Google will automatically show them the option of dark mode, and prompt them to switch to their welcome screen. Users can also set the theme selection based on device defaults.
