Lok Sabha elections have started in the country today, Friday, 19th April. Today voting is taking place on 102 Lok Sabha seats in 21 states and union territories of the country. Voting will be held in 7 phases in the country. After the first phase of voting on 19th April, the second phase of elections will be held on 26th April. The third phase of elections is to be held on May 7, the fourth phase on May 13, the fifth phase on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25 and the seventh phase on June 1. Voting will be held on a total of 543 seats in the voting to be held from April 19 to June 1. The election results will be announced on June 4.
