<पी शैली="पाठ-संरेखण: औचित्य सिद्ध करें;">IPL 2024: Last week, there was a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. Although Mumbai won the match by 7 wickets, the toss that took place before the start of the match became the cause of a big controversy. Actually, when Hardik Pandya tossed the coin, it fell backwards. When match referee Javagal Srinath went to pick up the coin, people on social media started claiming that Srinath had flipped the coin. After this incident, claims started being made that the toss of Mumbai Indians is fixed. When there was a match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings recently, the cameraman zoomed in to show whether it was heads or tails after the toss.
Truth behind Mumbai Indians' claim of toss fixing
The claim that the toss was fixed gained momentum when a video of Faf du Plessis and Pat Cummins talking during the toss of the RCB vs SRH match went viral. In the video, Du Plessis can be seen mentioning the incident with Hardik Pandya that he had tossed the coin backwards. Even Pat Cummins could not stop laughing after hearing such things. The comment session was filled with claims that RCB captain du Plessis was explaining how the toss was fixed for Mumbai Indians. But all the claims of toss being fixed in the match between Punjab and Mumbai have been proved to be false.

Last Thursday, there was a match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings. Since Shikhar Dhawan was injured, Sam Curran came to the field to toss for Punjab. Perhaps the news of the toss being fixed had stuck in Curran's mind somewhere, so after the coin toss he came to see for himself. Hardik Pandya called Tails, but the cameraman came forward and zoomed in and showed that Hades had come. With this initiative taken by the programming team of IPL, the rumors of toss being fixed in the Mumbai Indians match have been proved false.
