Delhi Government Schools Admissions: Delhi Education Directorate has released the complete schedule of the admission process for class 10th and 12th in the government schools of the capital. According to the schedule, the examination for admission to class 10th and 12th in government schools will be conducted on May 9. Whereas the forms for admission will be available from 18th April to 30th April. The student will get the admit card on May 7 from the school where he has applied for admission. For admission, you will be able to take a print out of the form from the official website of the Directorate and submit it to the school.

As per the released schedule, the test for admission will be conducted on May 9 from 10 am to 12 noon. Whereas the result of the exam will be released on May 14. At the same time, by May 21, the principals of all the schools will have to submit all the admission files in the office of the Deputy Director of Education (DDE).

Eligibility for admission in 10th

To take admission in 10th class, a student must have passed 9th class from any recognized school.

Eligibility for admission in 12th

Science (Maths with and without Mathematics): 55% marks, at least 50% marks in Mathematics and at least 40% marks in English and Science without it.

Commerce (Mathematics and without Mathematics): At least 50% marks, at least 45% marks in English, 50% marks in Mathematics and 45% marks in Social Science.

Students will get admission in all other schools except Government Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence.
