Deepinder Goyal of zomato did biggest land deal in Delhi he bought 5 acres for 79 crore rupees in FY 2024

Deepinder Goyal: Till now the property deals happening in Mumbai remain in the news. Now a big land deal has taken place in the country's capital Delhi, which has come into the headlines. This deal has actually been done by Deepinder Goyal, founder of online food delivery platform Zomato. He has purchased about 5 acres of land in Dera Mandi area for about Rs 79 crore. Apart from this, Godrej Properties, Experion Developers, DLF Homes Developers and Prestige Group have also made big land deals in Delhi-NCR.

29 land deals of 314 acres were done in Delhi-NCR.

According to Enrock's report, in the financial year 2024, 29 land deals of about 314 acres have been done in Delhi-NCR. The biggest deal among these has been done by Deepinder Goyal. A total of 23 land deals worth Rs 273.9 crore were signed in FY 2023. According to the data, 22 deals of 208.22 acres of land have been done in Gurugram. Of these, one deal each has been made for educational, residential and retail purposes. The remaining 20 deals are for residential development till March 2024. A deal for 15 acres of land has also been signed in Faridabad.

Big deals made in Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad

Apart from this, Ganga Realty has signed a deal for 8.35 acres of land in Gurugram for Rs 132 crore, Experian Developers has signed a deal for 4 acres of land on Golf Course Road for Rs 400 crore and 5 acres of land in Sector 145 of Noida for Rs 250 crore. Godrej Properties has purchased land in Gurugram and Noida. DLF Homes Developers has bought land in Gurugram and Prestige Group has bought land in Ghaziabad.

Big deals will happen due to increasing demand for houses

Enrock Group Vice Chairman Santosh Kumar said that big builders are moving towards Delhi-NCR. To meet the increasing demand for houses, about 26 deals of about 298 acres of land can be done. Apart from this, two deals can be done regarding commercial property. About 83 big land deals have taken place in the top 7 cities in the financial year 2024. Apart from this, 18 big deals of 1,853 acres have also been done in Tier 2 and 3 cities like Ayodhya, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Nagpur, Mysore, Ludhiana and Surat.
