Cheteshwar Pujara KKR IPL: Cheteshwar Pujara, the reliable batsman of the Indian Test team, will play the 100th Test match of his career in Delhi. The second match of the four-Test series being played between India and Australia will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi from February 17. On Pujara’s 100th test, his family will be present at the stadium to cheer him on. He will be the 13th cricketer from India to play 100 or more Test matches for the country. Before Pujara’s 100th Test, his father shared a special memory related to him.
Shahrukh said that treatment will be done in South Africa
Cheteshwar Pujara’s father Arvind wrote in the Indian Express, “The second time I saw joy in his eyes was when I was in South Africa when Pujara broke his hamstring while playing for Kolkata Knight Riders. We wanted him to return to Rajkot and get the surgery done here. But KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan insisted that Chintu (Cheteshwar Pujara) be treated in South Africa. There was logic in Shah Rukh’s words. Since rugby players often get this injury. So doctors in South Africa were more used to this type of surgery.
Pujara got the best treatment
According to Pujara’s father Arvind, Shahrukh Khan believed that Chintu has a bright future and should get the best medical care. To convince us, he offered to take several family members to South Africa by plane. I didn’t have a passport. That’s why I asked Dr. Shah to go to South Africa alone. But Shahrukh Khan insisted that I should also go there. All the paperwork was done very quickly due to which I was able to go to South Africa.
