Franchise owner Mizanur Rahman refuted the allegations against Shoaib Malik and said that he deeply regrets spreading the rumour.
It has become clear from Mizanur Rahman's statement that Malik's contract has not ended. In a video, the owner of Fortune Barishal said, “I deeply regret the rumors related to Shoaib Malik. He is a great player. He gave us his best. So we should not make a fuss about it. We have lost two consecutive matches. So we should concentrate on the upcoming matches. We will bounce back.”
Let us tell you that Shoaib Malik came into controversy after bowling three no balls in a single over in a BPL match, after which the franchise Fortune Barishal had talked about terminating Malik's contract on suspicion of fixing. If media reports are to be believed, the owner of Fortune Barishal had confirmed the termination of Malik's contract. But now Mizanur Rahman has taken a U-turn by giving a different statement on this matter.

It is noteworthy that in the Bangladesh Premier League, a match was played between Fortune Barishal and Khulna Tigers on January 22, in which Shoaib Malik bowled three no balls. Shoaib Malik became the topic of discussion after bowling three no balls in the same over. Malik came with the fourth over of the second innings, in which he bowled 3 no balls and conceded 18 runs.
