Trending news: Bigg Boss makers are biased, didn't get chance because of famous contestants, alleges Umar Riaz

‘Bigg Boss’ has always been a source of controversy in the media and now a new interview of ex-contestant and actor Umar Riaz is going viral which has given rise to some fresh issues. Umar, during an interview with Siddharth Kannan, was seen talking about the reasons behind his evacuation from the Bigg Boss show. His brother Asim Riaz was the first runner-up of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and in the past he too had expressed similar displeasure for the Bigg Boss team. Umar Riaz accused the makers of adopting unfair means to get him out of the show. Umar also had a lot to say as he recalled his brother’s reaction after going home after the eviction and the attitude of the show’s host Salman Khan towards him after his exit from Bigg Boss.

‘I could also come back like Archana’

Umar Riaz was evicted from ‘Bigg Boss 15’ for physically assaulting Prateik Sehajpal. The anchor read out Omar’s earlier tweet regarding ‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Archana Gautam, who was brought back in season 16 despite being evicted for physically assaulting her. Umar further added that even though both of them had committed the same mistake in the show, they were never given a chance to make a comeback like Archana.

The team was biased towards famous people

He further revealed how the Bigg Boss team was biased towards more famous contestants in the show. The actor said- They wanted me there for two to three weeks and they never wanted me to go ahead.

The doctor-turned-actor Umar also spoke about how he felt that names like Karan Kundrra and Jay Bhanushali pushed him in the eyes of the makers and reduced his chances of staying long in the show, as he was just outside the industry.
