BCCI Domestic Cricketer Salary: The Board of Control for Cricket in India may soon increase the salary of players playing domestic cricket. According to a report, Ajit Agarkar's selection committee has been entrusted with the task of giving suggestions in this regard. The board believes that players who do not play in the Indian Premier League will get the benefit. However, there will be many rules regarding this. BCCI will work on many types of plans. Players are expected to get up to Rs 1 crore annually.
According to a report by Cricbuzz, the board can give Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 crore as annual salary to players who play 10 Ranji Trophy matches. If we look at the current situation, salary is given on the basis of experience. Players who play more than 40 Ranji Trophy matches get Rs 60 thousand every day. Whereas players who have played 21 to 40 matches get Rs 50 thousand. Apart from this, players who have played 20 matches get Rs 40 thousand.
Senior players of the team that reaches the Ranji Trophy finals earn up to Rs 25 lakh. Whereas players of other teams get Rs 17 to 22 lakh depending on their experience. BCCI is considering a special plan for the players who are not playing in the IPL.
It is noteworthy that recently BCCI has started a special scheme for Test cricket. The match fees of players who play more than 75 percent of test matches for Team India will increase by 300 percent. If we look at the current situation, a player gets Rs 15 lakh. The board believed that some players were leaving Test cricket to play in the IPL. For this reason this decision was taken.
