six months out
Jasprit Bumrah played the last T20 International match for India in September 2022. Then his back injury resurfaced in the T20 match played against Australia in Hyderabad. Due to which he was ruled out of important tournaments like T20 World Cup. After this, he could not play in any series for any team India even further. Bumrah is out of the team for almost 6 months. Despite his not playing, the BCCI has kept him in the A+ category. A plus is a special category of BCCI, under which the player is given Rs 7 crore in a season.
people raised questions
Cricket fans are shocked to see Jasprit Bumrah in the A+ category in BCCI’s annual contract list. He has raised questions on the board for this. Some cricket fans say that Bumrah is out of international cricket. Why is he in A+ category. Mohammed Shami should be included in his place. At the same time, some fans have said that everything else is fine. Why brother in Bumrah A+ category? These people believe that Bumrah should not be kept in any grade. Neither play in any important match. Play one match and be out for a year. By the way, this anger of the people is justified. Because there are some players in Team India who could have been included in the A+ category.
